Gene Rabent, CEO
Gene Rabent has a lengthy career in the chemical industry including chorine manufacturing and distribution. He was one of the C-level executives that took Triwater Holdings to a value of $500 million in 5 years with an ROI for investors of 8X. His early career was with Akzo-Nobel. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Daemen College and an MBA from Northwestern.
Rodney Herrington, Founder
Rodney started Aqua Research in 2010 with 25 years in the water industry, driven by a mission to improve global health by combating waterborne disease. He is an innovator with many water technology patents, a BS in Aerospace Engineering, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Katie Rich, VP, Marketing
Katie has a 25-year history with marketing on-site chlorination systems, driving content and marketing strategy to improve market share. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA in Marketing from Cox School of Business and a MA in Communications from Webster University.
Mike Reardon, Special Advisor
Mike was a co-founder and C-level executive that took a $1 million investment in US Filter and acquired 300 companies between 2000 and 2009, and then sold US Filter to Vivendi for $6.2B. Subsequently, Mike was CEO of Culligan Water. Mike and our CEO, Gene Rabent, led the private equity funded Triwater Holdings to a value of $500 million over five years, and a return on investment of 8X. Mike is on the board of directors of Aqua Membranes, also founded by Rodney Herrington, and the sister company to Aqua Research.
Terri Herrington
Terri is the retired former VP of Finance for International Paper. She previously had a 30-year career in finance at British Petroleum. Terri and her husband Paul, the brother of our founder, are investors in Aqua Research.
Bill Horan, Advisor
Bill is the retired president of Operation Blessing International. In his 13 year tenure at Operation Blessing, he grew the non-government organization to greater than $300 million per year to support disaster relief operations worldwide. Bill developed a very responsive organization that responded to disasters within 2 to 3 days of the disaster to provide relief to the victims of those disasters. Under his leadership, restoring or providing safe water to victims was a primary objectives. He deployed Aqua Research technology to many disasters around the world.
