These are replacement test strips for those supplied with the H2gO purifier. They are used to ensure that there is adequate chlorine residual in cloudy water prior to initiating the Cryptosporidium wait period. Package contains 25 test strips in a foil pouch with instructions for use.

(Note that independent testing with the H2gO Purifier demonstrates bacteria and virus kill in all waters with a 2.5 mg/L dose, Giardia kill in all waters with a 5 mg/L dose, and Cryptosporidium kill in clear water with a 5 mg/L dose — test strips are not needed in any of these cases. However, since the organic material in dirty water can react with disinfectant, and Cryptosporidium kill requires a longer wait period, the strips can be used to ensure there is adequate chlorine residual in dirty water at the beginning of the Crypto wait period.)
