The LAKE Series comes in capacities of 3 or 5 kilograms per day (6 or 11 pounds per day) of free available chlorine (FAC) at 5,000 +/- 500 mg/l concentration per liter of solution. The LAKE-5 System shown in the photo produces 1,100 liters (288 gallons) of mixed oxidants per day at a 0.45% concentration. It can treat 5 million liters (1.3 million gallons) of drinking water per day at a dose of 1 mg/l, or 2 million liters (520,000 gallons per day) of drinking water per day at a dose of 2.5 mg/l. The solution can treat highly contaminated medical settings at 5,000 mg/l according to World Health Organization standards or can be diluted 10:1 with water to produce a 500 mg/l sanitizing solution for cleaning surfaces or other sanitizing applications.
